For this week, I started writing the report for chapter 1 which is the introduction chapter and have finished writing for the background of the project, problem statement and objectives. This week there is also workshop 3 held on November 23. Workshop 3 explains how to write for chapter 4, chapter 5 and abstract. For chapter 4, this chapter will shows and explain the results obtain for the project. For chapter 5, this chapter will tell conclusively about the use of the project as well as suggested improvements that can be made so that the project can work better. Lastly, An abstract is a concise summary of a research paper or entire thesis.

Development of Wind Speed Monitoring System using Microcontroller and IoT
Background of the Project
Temperature, rain, and wind are the three climate characteristics in Malaysia. The wind has a significant impact because it affects both the temperature and the rain. Residential areas or residences near the coast are particularly vulnerable to natural disasters such as storms, which can cause property damage.
Even though the wind in Malaysia is often weak and variable in direction, the patterns of the wind sometimes change. Based on these changes, four seasons can be identified which is the northeast monsoon, southwest monsoon, and two shorter periods inter-monsoon seasons. As a country surrounded by sea, the effect of both sea and land breezes on the wind pattern is significant, especially on clear days.
